Skilled Nursing Services
Qualified Registered Nursed and Licensed Vocational Nurses who provide:
- Individualized care, to promote, maintain and assist patients in restoring health and minimizing the effects of their illness and disability.
- Personalized teachings and education for the patient and the family, on preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
- Medically prescribed coordinated services, which are appropriate to the span of treatment and will enhance the individuals’ return to independent activities of daily living.
In addition to general nursing procedures, we also provide:
- Wound care management (surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, etc.)
- IV antibiotic therapy, IV hydration, Electrolyte Therapy, Total Parenteral Nutrition
- Administration of injections
- Foley catheter care
- Ostomy care
- Blood glucose monitoring and Insulin management
- Enteral Nutrition (GT, JT, NGT)
- Pre and post-surgical care
- Central line management – PICC line, Porta-catheter, Groshong, Hickman, ets.
Physical Therapy Services
We provide prescribed physical therapy treatment, aimed to develop and restore functions of the muscles and joints; to assist the patient in improving and facilitating maximum self-care; to return to optimum function.
Occupational Therapy Services
Help the patient learn to perform physical tasks and regain skills required for independent living.
Medical Social Services
Assist the patient and family members to cope with personal and emotional impact of the illness or disability; help assess and evaluate factors affecting the patient to recover, by integrating financial assistance, referrals to community resources, such as transportation, meals on wheels and support group.
